Overview
The Agricultural and Mining division forms the platform that spearheads business growth into Africa. Our experience and know-how of successfully supplying integrated solutions to the agricultural and mining industries across Africa has established Unitrans Agriculture and Mining as a world class logistics service provider. The division provides specialised logistics services to the agricultural industry that include land clearing, field preparation (laser levelling and ploughing), canal excavation, harvesting, road maintenance, primary agricultural product haulage, bulk haulage, downstream transport, fine distribution and various ancillary services. In the mining sector, the division specialises in the provision of dozing, loading and hauling of ore, tailings, processed minerals, finished and slurry products, as well as providing plant and slurry dam cleaning, and plant feeding services. In the explosives industry, hauling services are provided for packaged and bulk explosives.
