Joint venture companies operating within Unitrans Freight and Logistics are:
Klipstone Transport (Pty) Ltd
Klipstone Transport (Pty) Ltd is a company engaged in the transport of cementitious products for Afrisam (Pty) Ltd. The Unitrans shareholding in this company is 64%, with Magnificent Mile Trading 120 (Pty) Ltd, a Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) company holding 26% and Afrisam (Pty) Ltd holding the balance of 10%.
Setjhaba Carriers
Setjhaba Carriers provides a load and haul service of the tailing resources from the De Beers Kimberley Mine to the Combined Treatment Plant, also in Kimberley. The shareholders are Magnificent Mile Trading 120 (Pty) Ltd with 15%, Unitrans employees working with Setjhaba will own 10% through a staff trust, the Setjhaba Women's Trust will have a 5% shareholding, and the balance of 70% is held by Unitrans Supply Chain Solutions.
