- Unitrans Household Goods Logistics
Transportation, distribution and logistics services are provided for household goods from five facilities in South Africa. It is anticipated that a further twenty-seven facilities will be operational by 2014.
This split in industry and product focus addresses the fact that the provision of warehousing and distribution and less-than truckload break bulk services require specialist skills, approaches and tools that are not industry specific but are rather focused around the supply of specific services within focused niches of the supply chain.
Fundamental Strategy
Our fundamental strategy is to integrate supply chains, thereby enhancing efficiencies and simultaneously improving cost-effectiveness. We achieve this through:- Developing an implicit understanding of the customer’s requirements
- Crafting the optimum logistical solution for the project
- Demonstrating operational excellence in the execution of the task
