In 1976 Jo founded Medical Leasing Services, a company providing specialised financial services, mainly to medical doctors.
In 1987 the business was sold to the Absa group, the name was changed to MLS Bank and Jo was appointed chief executive officer, a position he held until 1995. Later that year he established Imperial Bank and served on the main board of Imperial Holdings until he joined the former Unitrans Limited* as chief executive in September 1998.
He currently serves on the boards of Steinhoff International Holdings Limited and SA PGA Tour.
Jo chairs the Unitrans Holdings (Pty) Ltd executive committee.

Steve qualified as a chartered accountant (South Africa) in 1983. After completing articles he joined an international chemical manufacturer as finance director. In 1988 he joined Malbak Limited as a management accountant and spent the next three years involved with the corporate finance activities of the Malbak group.
In 1991 he was transferred to Malbak Motor Holdings where he held various responsibilities, including finance director and operations director. During this period he also served as a non-executive director of Ellerine Holdings Limited. In 1997 he was appointed managing director of Malbak Motor Holdings.
In 1998, on the acquisition of Malbak Motor Holdings by Unitrans Limited, he was appointed to the former Unitrans Limited* board.
Steve holds executive responsibility for the Motor and Financial Services division of Unitrans Holdings (Pty) Ltd and is a member of the Unitrans Holdings (Pty) Ltd executive committee.
Nico Boshoff (52)

After completing his BCom and serving articles, Nico ventured into the commuter transport business. This business, known today as Megabus, was sold to Unitrans in August 1995 and Nico was appointed managing director of what was to become the former Unitrans Limited's* passenger business. In December 1998 he was appointed managing director of Unitrans Passenger (Proprietary) Limited and has held this position to date.
In October 2004 he also assumed responsibility as managing director of the Unitrans empowerment venture, Bojanala Bus.
Nico is a member of South African Bus Employers Association (SABEA), South African Bus Operations Association (SABOA) and Coach Operators Association South Africa (COASA).
Nico is a member of the Unitrans Holdings (Pty) Ltd executive committee.
Frank Wagner (47)

Total transport and logistics experience: 19 years.
Frank joined Trencor Limited as financial manager shortly after qualifying as a chartered accountant and completing articles in 1987. He became the general manager of Stuarts Transport in 1991 and was involved in the formation of Crossroads Distribution in 1997.
At the time of joining Unitrans, Frank was responsible for new business developments of Jowells and Stuarts Transport.
Frank is a member of the Unitrans Holdings (Pty) Ltd executive committee.

Johan joined the Mining Industry after completing an Honours Degree in Behavioural Science. He gained 11 years of experience in Senior Human Resources Manager positions before he joined Steinhoff Africa as Human Resources Director in 1999.
He joined the Steinhoff International Group Services during 2001 as Executive Human Resources.
Johan holds a MBA Degree (Human Resources).
* The Unitrans Limited listing on the JSE Limited terminated on 29 May 2007 and the entire Unitrans operations have been transferred to
Unitrans Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary within the Steinhoff International Group.
